Privacy notice

Updated: 24 September 2026. This notice covers the SiGeKo website and web application. The separate lol.marketing privacy notice covers the agency website.

The operator details are confirmed. Product-specific international transfer safeguards, retention periods and an EU representative, where required, still need to be completed.

Data processed

Account: email address, account identifier and profile details provided when signing in with Google.
Projects: entered contacts, observations, actions, working hours, photos, documents and captured signatures.
Device permissions: camera and location access is requested for the relevant feature.
Operations: the service providers may process technical connection, security and error data.

Purposes and legal bases

Account management and service delivery support the user relationship; contact data is used to respond to your request. Security and troubleshooting support safe operation. Optional analytics requires consent. You must establish an appropriate legal basis for personal data about others that you upload.

Google Firebase and processing locations

Google Firebase provides authentication, the database, file storage and hosting. The project database uses the European eur3 multi-region. The web application server runs in Frankfurt; the website is delivered through a distributed hosting network. Uploaded files still use US storage. Firebase Authentication and other providers may process data internationally. A planned EU storage migration is not a completed relocation.

System emails and contact enquiries

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) handles account emails, contact enquiries and contact management. Enquiries include your name, email address, message and any company or role you provide. We send the enquiry to our inbox and an acknowledgement to your address; contact details are maintained in Brevo to handle the enquiry. Contacting us does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

With your consent, we process your email address, selected language and subscription and confirmation details through Brevo for the newsletter. Signing up sends a confirmation email. Your address is added to the newsletter list only after confirmation. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future, including by contacting hello@lol.marketing.

Optional weather requests

When you request weather data, the coordinates obtained after your location permission are sent through the SiGeKo server to Apple WeatherKit. SiGeKo checks your sign-in; location and query parameters are sent to Apple for the weather request. You can also enter weather details manually. Apple describes how WeatherKit processes location information in its provider information.

Abuse prevention

Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise helps protect account features from abusive access. It may process technical device, browser and connection data. Forms and weather requests also use server-side rate limits, which store derived identifiers, counters and timestamps. These security functions are separate from optional usage analytics.

Local storage and analytics

Browsers and apps store data for sign-in and local use. The website also stores your consent decision. Firebase Analytics is activated only after you agree; you can withdraw consent through cookie settings.

Retention and deletion

Account and project data is processed to provide the service. Statutory retention requirements and necessary security logs may prevent immediate deletion. Binding retention periods and the treatment of backup copies must be specified before launch. For data copies or deletion requests, contact hello@lol.marketing.

Your rights

Where the applicable conditions are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can withdraw consent for future processing and complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Send requests to hello@lol.marketing.
