Issue management software for your construction site

A photo alone does not resolve an issue. Connect the observation to a location, action, responsible contact and deadline. See what remains open and what you still need to check after a response.

Capture issues on site

Describe what you observed, add photos and identify the location. Separate facts from assumptions. Risk assessment supports your professional prioritisation; an unassessed risk must not be treated as resolved.

Connect actions, deadlines and responsibilities

Record the agreed corrective action, the responsible contact and when a response is expected. Inspections and linked project records provide context. Decide which information to share with the people involved.

Companies respond; you review completion

Authorised companies can submit responses and evidence for shared cases. A completion report is not a verified resolution. Check the actual situation and decide whether to ask for further work or close the issue.

Distinguish safety issues from construction defects

SiGeKo supports recording and following up site observations and actions. These records do not replace contractual defect notices, legally effective service or acceptance of construction work. Check separately whether your contract requires additional steps.

From site records to a clear report

  1. Record the observation

Add the location, photo and factual observation to the project.

  2. Coordinate corrective action

Agree and record the action, responsibility and deadline.

  3. Review the evidence

Check the response, resolve outstanding questions and deliberately confirm completion.

Records support coordination

Section 3 of Germany’s Construction Site Ordinance describes safety and health coordination duties. Employers retain their responsibilities. The software organises information and responses; it does not make professional decisions or replace on-site protective measures.

Can a company close an issue itself?

A company can report its work and add evidence where its portal permissions allow it. An authorised coordinator still reviews and confirms completion.

Does this replace a contractual defect notice?

No. Internal records, company responses and formal defect notices are different steps. Check the form, recipient, deadlines and service requirements under the applicable contract.
